At the center of Ethium's enhanced production process are our Ethium Robotic Assembly Devices (ERAD) that optimize the manufacturing of battery modules and ensure high-quality lithium-ion batteries every time. Our manufacturing engineering team has developed several additional ERADs to keep up with the growing demand for Ethium batteries and create increased productivity and capability to maintain our fastest-in-the-industry lead times.

Why do Ethium Lithium-Ion batteries operate so well in cold storage operations? Ethium batteries were designed and tested to withstand the toughest environments and have added features to prioritize safety and performance in the cold.
• Active Heating: Our battery is developed with 3 individual heaters on each cell, providing consistent warming against up to -40°C environments
• UL Certification: This certification proves our commitment to providing safe products and ensures performance in the toughest conditions
• Fully Enclosed: Ethium batteries achieved an IP67 rating due to their fully enclosed design. This element protects the battery from condensation, ice, and other liquids.
• Fast Charging: The battery can be charged faster, contributing to decreased downtime for heavy-use cold storage businesses, and it can also be charged within blast freezers and refrigerated warehouses.

An order of Ethium Lithium-Ion batteries just arrived at our cold storage customer and are ready to be installed! This customer had a variety of forklift types and required several different battery options to drive productivity in their warehouse. Our sales and engineering teams consulted with the customer to choose the series of Ethium batteries that would integrate seamlessly into their application.

Ethium efficiency is what drives this new customers operation! A large end-user came to us to swap out their lead acid forklift batteries for the lower maintenance of Ethium’s Lithium-Ion batteries. With the switch, they no longer experience downtime from lead acid maintenance requirements and have increased their warehouse’s productivity.
