Features
BMS and BOSS Technology
Integrated battery management system (BMS) embedded in each module to manage vital and safety functions (state of charge, temperature, cell balancing). Additional supervisory controller (BOSS module) to oversee each battery module and maintain communication with the equipment via CAN.
On/Off Switch with LED Indicator
Each battery can be switched on/off using a fully sealed push button. The state of charge and fault/status mode are also displayed on the user-friendly LED indicator.
Modularity and Enclosure
Multiple independently smart 4.5 kWh modules can be easily connected and mounted to the powder coated modular frame design providing easy configuration and discrete increments of capacity. The unique external counterweight design matches the weight requirements of virtually any application.
Active Air Cooling
Actively air-cooled battery assembly for even faster opportunity charging and prolonged life.
Communication
Active CAN communication protocol via Deutsch connector for battery configuration, to download maintenance and warranty data and to communicate state of charge to the vehicle cluster or the separate HMI panel.
Internal Construction
Highly energy dense and virtually wire free heavy duty structural honeycomb design. Heat dissipating architecture for improved cell thermal control.
Cylindrical LiFePO4 Cells
UL rated lithium iron phosphate cells for strong thermal stability, high energy density, extended life, and increased tolerance to full charge conditions. Completely compatible with lead acid applications.
